MICHIGAN REMODELER OF THE YEAR

This article was in the March issue of the Michigan Remodelers Council newsletter.

2011 MAHB REMODELER OF THE YEAR — DAVID RHOADS, CGR, CAPS

Dave has been involved with the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor for nearly 30 years.He has served on the board as local president and as their local Remodelers council chair. To date he has earned 134.5Spike credits.

As for MAHB involvement Dave is a member of the Executive Board, board of directors, Remodelers Council previously serving as vice chair and a Friends of Housing contributor.

In 1988 he was named to NAHB’s America’s Top 50 Remodelers. In 2007 He was also named Builder of the Year from the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor.

His civic responsibility is also a very important part of his character. He continues to serve as a city council member and is liaison to both the youth and senior councils. He was mayor pro tem in 2009.
