HSA Finishes Interiors for Goodwill Stores in Saline and Monroe

SALINE, MI (January 26, 2009) – Homeowner Services of America, Inc. (HSA), a Saline-based home remodeling firm, has finished the interiors for Goodwill stores in Saline and Monroe.

Earlier this month, HSA completed construction of offices, fitting rooms, and a loading dock at the Goodwill store at 235 N. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe. HSA was selected for this project after handling all interior finishing work for the Goodwill store in Saline at 557 E. Michigan Ave., Suite 3B this past fall.

"We are pleased to work with non-profit organizations such as Goodwill at a discounted rate," said David Rhoads, the founder, owner, and president of HSA. "This is part of our company giving back to the communities that have been so good to us."

Since 1985, HSA has completed over 600 home remodeling projects. The company specializes in kitchens, baths, basements, additions, dormers, and master suites.

HSA also modifies homes for safe, comfortable living by senior citizens and physically challenged people. David Rhoads of HSA has earned the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation from the American Association of Retired People (AARP) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Rhoads is a past president of the Home Builders Association of Washtenaw County (HBAWC), and a current executive director of the state HBA. The HBAWC honored Rhoads as the 2007 Builder of the Year.

Rhoads is also a member of the Saline City Council. In 2004, the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce selected Rhoads as Saline’s Citizen of the Year in recognition of his community involvement.
