Meet George Sondergeld
George Sondergeld was born in Lapeer, Michigan in 1981. Upon graduating High School, he went to work for a local remodeling contractor and found a niche in the building industry.
After several years of gaining knowledge of the trades, George went to work for Thermal Construction Specialists out of Blaine, Minnesota. There, George was trained in the Commercial/Industrial building sector. As part of a team tasked with building facilities as large as 600,000 sq. ft., George excelled with TCS. In 2009, George was badged by the United States Government to be allowed access to Boeing/Spirit airlines production facilities for construction services.
Upon the birth of his first child, George and his wife decided to come home to Michigan. After returning home, He met David Rhoads of HSA. David and George created a strong working relationship, remodeling many homes together in the Washtenaw county area.
After a period of time David approached George about purchasing his businesses Homeowner Services of America, and First Design Cabinetry. Seeing the opportunity to become a business owner, George accepted the offer and began working his way out of the field and into a managerial position.
In the spring of 2018, after three years of partnership with David, George took over as the owner of HSA and FDC.
